Grandpa Mazai and the Others

Grandpa Mazai from Nikolay Nekrasov’s famous poem saved many hares from death by drowning. Director Elvira Avakian’s Grandpa Mazai saved not only hares, but a doggy Mou-mou (another Nekrasov’s well-known character), the Persian princess (character from the song about Stenka Razin), and the passengers of Titanic as well. So Grandpa Mazai is a real hero, indeed!
