Hoffmaniada

Hoffmaniada is a romantic and fiction film directed by Stanislav Sokolov and based on the works of the famous German writer Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann. The outstanding modern sculptor Mihail Chemiakin created the sketches of characters. A young lawyer, writer, artist and musician Ernst and his literary character student Anselmus fall in love: the first with a beautiful Olympia, and the second with a magic snake girl Serpentina. Love and magic intrigues intertwine and happily resolved at the end of the film.
