ICAR Animation Awards Announced the Winners

On September 9, the ICAR National Animation Award ceremony was held for the seventh time. This year, the award ceremony took place on the stage of the renovated Khudozhestvenny cinema, where the world of the cult cartoon by Alexander Tatarsky and Igor Kovalev “Koloboks are conducting the investigation” was skillfully recreated. In the honorary nomination Master, the award was given to an outstanding composer, People’s Artist of the RSFSR Gennady Gladkov and a popular songwriter and playwright Yuri Entin. Ilya Popov, President of the Animated Film Association, one of the creators of the Smeshariki series, was named Producer of the Year.

The prize for the best directing went to Andrei Yuryevich Khrzhanovsky, who shot the film that was included in the official Oscar longlist this year – “The Nose or the Conspiracy” Not Like That “(Shar studio). Artist Anna Karpova received Icarus in the nomination of the same name for her work on the animated short film Mistress of the Copper Mountain.

Svetlana Kryuchkova, People’s Artist of the RSFSR, was named Best in the Actor nomination for her work in the film “Ba”.

In the Short Meter nomination, the winner was “Boxballet” directed by Anton Dyakov (Melnitsa studio). For her work on the same film, Svetlana Zamostyan was awarded in the Animator category. The heroes of the film Boxer and Ballerina became the Best in the Character nomination.

Outstanding filmmaker, two-time Oscar nominee Konstantin Bronzit has been honored in the Case nomination for his Jazz Friends Community project.
