Riki Group projects nominated for the Multimir prize

As part of Multimir, Russia’s largest festival, an industry prize for animation and licencing – also called Multimir – is awarded every year. Riki Group projects have been nominated for the prize.

Battling for the award will be animated films and series made both in Russia and abroad and then localized into Russian and released to cinemas or broadcast between 1 January 2018 and 25 March 2019, including licenced products.

The animation projects ‘Kikoriki’, ‘Kikoriki. Déjà vu’, ‘ABCs of Financial Literacy with Kikoriki’, ‘BabyRiki’, ‘BabyRiki. Let’s dance and sing’, and ‘The Fixies’ were nominated for Best Russian Animated Series, Best Male Character in a Russian Animated Film, Best Female Character in a Russian Animated Film, Best Song in a Russian Animated Film, and Best Licenced Product for a Russian Animated Film.

Some of the winners will be determined based on the results of a popular vote. The best 2D and 3D graphics in an animated film, licenced products, and acting work will be judged by members of a professional jury, made up of experts from the animation, television and children’s products industries.

Voting for the prize nominees lasts through the end of 29 May. You can cast your vote for your favourite character or project once per day at the prize website.

The awards ceremony will be held on 30 May onstage at the Multimir festival.
