A major new stage has begun in the implementation of the Animation Film Association’s Cartoons About What Matters Most project, supported by the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.

Faculty members and students from the Animation and Design departments of the Ivan Fedorov Moscow College of Publishing and Printing are joining the project. They will be directly involved in producing the animated films.

On September 4, a large introductory meeting was held at the college, where students learned more about the project. As early as next week, several creative teams will be formed from among those wishing to take part. Working under the guidance of their teachers, the students will begin developing characters, backgrounds, and locations before moving on to the production of the animated films.

As a reminder, the Cartoons About What Matters Most animated series will consist of fifteen short films for children and teenagers dedicated to the traditional spiritual, moral, and cultural values of Russian society.

The scripts have been written, the characters have been developed, and the music has been selected. The most exciting stage is still ahead — animation itself.
