Olya and Kolya, the Characters from RAFA’s “Cartoons About What Matters Most” Project, Invite You to the Autumn Festival

Meet Olya and Kolya, ten-year-old twins and the main characters of “Cartoons About What Matters Most”, a project by the Russian Animated Film Association (RAFA). They are exploring some important questions: what it means to work conscientiously, where the strength of patriotism lies, and how to distinguish genuine moral values from empty words. The project is supported by the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.

Work is underway to create 15 animated shorts for children and teenagers. The project draws on the provisions of Decree No. 809 of the President of the Russian Federation, “On Approving the Fundamentals of State Policy for the Preservation and Strengthening of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values”.

The animated shorts are being developed in the Animation and Design Departments of the Ivan Fedorov Moscow College of Publishing and Printing.

Olya and Kolya invite you to meet them and go behind the scenes at the college’s Autumn Festival.
