Animated video based on the Epic: The Musical from The Animation School student team

In October 2024, a team of students and teachers from the 2D Animation School began work on an animated video for Epic: The Musical is an original musical by Jorge Rivera-Herrans (Jay), inspired by Odyssey, animation and video games.

The project was a collaboration of students from different courses who joined together to bring one of the scenes to life — emotionally, powerfully, with respect for the original and complete freedom in the visual solution.

The guys went all the way from storyboard to the final composition, worked out the characters, looked for a visual style, directed scenes and choreography. This is not just a school project, it is a real creative laboratory where learning has become a real practice.
