Applications for the 3rd edition of International Animated Film Festival ‘Animur’ are being accepted

‘Animur’  international review competition of author’s and commercial animation in the Russian Far East will be held in Khabarovsk for the third time from November 1st to 04th, 2024.
Film screenings, master classes, creative meetings and lectures will once again bring together representatives of the animation industry and viewers from all over the world on the banks of the Amur River.

On June 1, 2024, the acceptance of applications for participation in competitive and non-competitive programs started. Animated films from Russia, the Asia-Pacific region and Southeast Asia (chrono up to 30 minutes), created no earlier than January 1st, 2022, are accepted for consideration for the competition.

The jury of the festival will evaluate films in the following categories:
Grand Prix
Special Jury Prize
The prize for the best director
The prize for the best artistic solution
The prize for the best animation
The prize for the best sound solution
Prize for the best student film
The prize for the best TV series
The prize of the organizing committee of the festival

The non-competitive program of the festival consists of features and short animated films representing various themes, plots, trends and the work of individual animation studios and directors (including retrospectives and tributes) from other regions of the world.

Applications for participation in the festival are accepted through the form posted on the official website, as well as on the FilmFreeway platform.

The application must be submitted no later than August 1st, 2024.
