Russian delegation at China International Cartoon & Animation Festival (CICAF) in Hangzhou

From June 19 to 24, the Russian delegation will be represented at China International Cartoon & Animation Festival (CICAF) in Hangzhou.
The presence of the Russian delegation is hosted by the Moscow Export Center, which presents the umbrella booth, holds matchmaking meetings and presentations of Russian companies.

The animation film market will feature projects from studios and companies: SMF, Riki group of companies, Yarko, KinoAtis, GreatFrame, Skazka, Good Night, Kids!, Red Square, as well as cases of the Flysound and Cyrillic service companies and LLCs “Sweetclub”, “Art 3D Graphics”, “Bubble” and “Sergei Eisenstein Street”.

The program of the delegation’s stay at the animation market will include the presentation of trailers of projects of Russian participants and pitching of Russian projects which takes place for the third time.

The delegates will take part in the official part of the festival and will meet with the leaders of the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Hangzhou Municipality, a special matchmaking session, and the Golden Monkey King Award ceremony.

The China International Cartoon & Animation Festival (CICAF) is hosted by the National Radio and Television Administration, the China Media Group and the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, and undertaken by the Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government, the Zhejiang Provincial Radio and Television Administration and the Zhejiang Radio & TV Group. It is China’s first national world-oriented animation festival, and a cultural trading platform key supported by the Chinese Culture Going-Global Project.

June, 19, 9.30 a.m. – 5.30 p.m. – “Golden Monkey King” Awards Pitch & Catch Session
Hosted at Jianguo Hotel Meeting Room 1 and Meeting Room 3A
Nominated Russian entries of 2023 “Golden Monkey King” Awards will be invited to deliver a pitch in this Session, and will have a 1V1 matchmaking in the afternoon. Representatives from Moscow Export Center and Russian Animated Film Association and some Russian companies will also be invited to listen to all the pitches, and to choose works/companies of interest for 1V1 meeting.
