‘Team MATCH’ animated series won the award at the XXII International Sports Film Festival.
On October 29, the closing ceremony of the XXIInd edition of International Sports Film Festival took place. The animated series ‘Team MATCH’ produced by YARKO company became the winner in the nomination ‘Best animated film’ (episode ‘Karate-Cayman’, directed by Vladislav Zherikov).

High-quality animation combined with the topical theme of sports allows us to convey to young viewers the importance of physical activity and team spirit. Sport is not only an opportunity to develop the body, but also a way to form character, especially for children who learn to achieve goals and work in a team at an early age,’ comments Pavel Gutkovsky, ‘Team MATCH’ executive producer.
The festival program encompassed more than 50 features, documentaries and animated works from Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Serbia and Croatia. All features and series were produced in the last two years. The international jury included representatives of art, culture, sports, prominent public figures and media executives. Irina Rodnina, a three-time Olympic figure skating champion, became the President of the festival.
