The MultFilin Street Animation Festival has opened submissions for its 2026 season. Children and teenagers are invited to take part by submitting their own animated films, whether created at home, in a studio, as part of a club activity, or together with teachers and mentors.

Entries will be accepted from 1 June to 31 August 2026. The jury review period will take place from 1 to 20 September, with the winners announced on 21 September.

The competition is divided into three age categories: “Dreamers” for children aged 4–7 working with adult support, “Visionaries” for participants aged 8–12, and “Creators” for teenagers aged 13–18. Animated films may be produced using any technique, including projects created on a smartphone. To be eligible, a film must have been completed in 2025 or later and must not exceed five minutes in length.

The theme of the 2026 summer season is “Once Upon a Holiday”. Participants are encouraged to create stories in the genres of summer adventure or mystery.

The festival aims to encourage children and teenagers to explore animation and storytelling through accessible creative tools. By welcoming projects made with a wide range of techniques and equipment, it provides young authors with an opportunity to share their ideas, develop creative skills and present their work to a wider audience.

For many participants, creating an animated film begins with a simple idea, a short script and the desire to tell a story. MultFilin offers a platform where those first creative steps can become part of a larger animation community.
