An animation program at Russian Film Festival in Armenia

The Days of Russian Cinema will be held in Armenia from April 28 to May 7. Free screenings will take place in Yerevan (April 28-30) and Gyumri (May 5-7). The program of film weekends includes animation – full-meter films about the adventures of a good brownie “Finnick”, “The Nutcracker and the Magic Flute” and “Teddy Boom!”.

The Days of Russian cinema under the brand Russian Film Festival are organized by ROSKINO with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia. The Russian Film Festival will come to the Armenian audience for the second time, but this year – with an expanded program of films and a new geography of screenings.

“Finniсk” (directed by Denis Chernov, 2022) is an adventure animated film, an exciting children’s detective from the ‘Kikoriki’ animated series creators about a kind and funny brownie Finnick. He and his girl friend Kristina will have to unite to uncover mysterious incidents and save the city.

“Teddy Boom!” (directed by Denis Chernov, Ilya Kupriyanov, 2021) is a family animated film about the magic of friendship. The story is about an extra-class thief who stole a unique ruby and hid it inside a teddy bear named Boom in order to take the gem out of the country. But everything is not going according to plan.

“The Nutcracker and the Magic Flute” (directed by Viktor Glukhushin, 2022) is an animated adventure tale. Beautiful Marie accidentally falls into an amazing kingdom, the power of which was seized by cunning rats. She, the enchanted Prince Nutcracker and their friends will have a dizzying adventure full of mysterious secrets.

Russian Film Festival – days of Russian cinema abroad, which are held by ROSKINO with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation since 2020. The main goal of the RFF is to introduce foreign viewers to the diversity of modern Russian content: from feature films of various genres and TV series to animation and documentaries. In 2020-2022, the festival was held in 30 countries, attracting more than 6.5 million viewers. The RFF format includes both online screenings and offline events.
