Social Platform for Author Animation and Cartoons Collections

The Russian Animated Film Association is about to launch of a social platform of Russian author’s animation, which will collect the best cartoons of Russian authors over 30 years (1990-2020). The platform will be free and open source, with user registration as a subscriber.

Subscribers will find not only a large catalog of cartoons for adults and children, news about animation, creative meetings and master classes with industry professionals, but also original thematic collections of cartoons that may interest not only children, but also adults. For example, we listed all cartoons in which non-standard characters exist in one viewer list. Unusual and even more unusual. In these cartoons, the main characters are any creatures and objects – trees, clouds, buttons, houses. And they are not always typically kind and positive. The selection “Not like everyone else” includes the cartoons “Kostya”, “Beware, the doors open”, “Janitor on the moon” (School-studio SHAR), “Once upon a time”, “About poplar” (studio Bee), “Dasha and the Cannibal”, “Bear” (studio SMF), “About nosuha” (studio SNEGA).

The Opening of the Platform of Author’s Russian Animation will take place in December 2021.

The project “Social platform for children and parents, uniting and popularizing the best works of Russian author’s animation for 30 years” is carried out using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation provided by the Presidential Grants Fund.
