‘Three Heroes and the Navel of the Earth’ became the most successful film of the franchise and Russian animation in general

An animated adventure ‘Three Heroes and the Navel of the Earth’ became the most successful film of the franchise and Russian animation in general, collecting more than 992 million rubles (more than 10 994 742 dollars) (as of the morning of January 29, 2024) at the box office.

Volga film company released ‘Three Heroes and the Navel of the Earth’ on December 28, 2023. The picture is still at the box office, conquering new heights! Produced by  CTB film company, animation studio “Melnitsa” with the support of the Cinema Foundation.

‘Three Heroes’ is the largest franchise of animated features in Russia. The first part of the series – “Alyosha Popovich and Tugarin the Snake” by Konstantin Bronzit – was released in December 2004. The franchise will ctltbrate the 20th anniversary years in 2024. The largest independent Russian animation studio “Melnitsa” will also celebrate its 25th anniversary.
