“White Snake” Got the Main Prize of the Youth Film Awards

Polina Fedorova’s animation work “White Snake” received the main prize of the Youth Film Award, which was presented by Roskulttsentr at the ceremony on November 11.

The plot of the picture tells the story of a boy lost in the forest. In the dark thicket, he stumbles upon an ancient spirit – a White snake, which he cuts with an ax out of fright. For this, the Snake sends various misfortunes to the boy.

The White Snake, as well as the short-listed animated films, will be posted on the Social Platform of Auteur Cinema, which RAFA is launching in December 2021. These are “The Most Terrible” by Pavel Nikiforov and “Mermaid” by Svetlana Zhukova.
