China Licensing Expo (CLE) 2025

October 15–17, 2025, Shanghai New International Expo Center
China Licensing Expo (CLE) is the largest event in Asia dedicated to licensing and intellectual property. From October 15 to 17, 2025, it will be held for the 18th time in Shanghai, bringing together leading industry players, world-renowned brands, and emerging IP projects.
The exhibition will cover more than 65,000 m² and feature over 2,600 IPs and organizations from various segments of the industry. More than 100,000 professional visitors are expected, including brand owners, licensees, distributors, and representatives of the creative industries. Among the participants are Disney, Transformers, Peppa Pig, Barbie, Pokémon, Hello Kitty, Ultraman, Doraemon, and many others.
What to Expect
CLE has traditionally served as a key platform for business negotiations, IP presentations, and partnership building. In 2025, special zones will focus on new and cross-sector licensing, video games, sports brands, as well as unique formats such as IP × Originality and IP × Cross-Sector Collaborations.
The organizer of CLE is the Licensing Council of China, part of the China Toy & Juvenile Products Association. In 2025, the exhibition will once again be held alongside China Toy Expo (CTE), China Kids Fair (CKE), and China Preschool Expo (CPE), creating the region’s largest integrated industry platform.
Why Attend CLE 2025
China Licensing Expo offers direct access to global industry leaders and the latest cross-sector trends. Participation opens opportunities to present projects on the Chinese market and to build international business connections.
