On November 27, the online cinema Okko will premiere the new animated series Abduction, created by the studio “Green Stone-Eaters” with the support of the “Phoenix” studio.

The project centers on conspiracy theories and paranormal phenomena, and its story unfolds in the fictional town of Amurgrad, inspired by the real city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The premiere includes the first two episodes.

The plot follows two schoolboys — Danil, a devoted conspiracy enthusiast, and Sergey, a skeptical captain of the hockey team. Despite their rivalry, they are forced to work together when strange and unexplainable events begin to occur in their town.

The characters encounter ghosts, UFOs, and other mysterious phenomena as they try to protect their friends and uncover secrets far bigger than their small town.

The first season consists of 12 episodes, and the project is already being considered for continuation. The series was created under the direction of writer and director Anastasia Bondarenko; the music was composed by Daniil Revutsky, and the sound design was done by Vadim Astashev. The characters are voiced by Alexander Ignatenko, Nikolay Grigoryev, Diana Deeva, Anton Buzov, Maxim Petrov, and Alexander Parfyonov.
