Esports Tournaments of Moscow Video Games Week to Cover 84 Regions of Russia

From November 27 to 30, large-scale esports tournaments will take place as part of Moscow International Video Games Week, covering 84 regions of Russia.

According to Agency for Creative Industries of Moscow, participants will be able to compete in popular esports disciplines including Dota 2, Counter‑Strike 2, Fortnite, Apex Legends and Hearthstone, as well as retro gaming tournaments. The competitions will be held in multiple formats, ranging from classic five-on-five team matches and two-on-two duels to individual contests and three-player team battles.

Players will have an opportunity to demonstrate strategic thinking and technical skill to claim the title of the strongest. The tournament program is open to both beginners and professional esports athletes, ensuring inclusivity for all experience levels. The events will span 84 federal subjects, including Moscow, Kaliningrad Oblast, Leningrad Oblast, Saint Petersburg, Irkutsk Oblast, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and others.

Moscow International Video Games Week will be held in the capital for the first time and is set to become a major international forum bringing together leaders of the gaming and IT industries, experts and video game enthusiasts from Russia and abroad. The event’s business program will gather representatives from more than 20 countries and will be hosted at the video games and animation cluster venue.
