Riki Group and Tremblay Brothers launch new animated series “The Kameleons”
RIKI GROUP, a leading Russian animation company based in St. Petersburg, and the TREMBLAY BROTHERS, renowned independent creators and producers of transmedia content, announced today the launch of a new animated TV Series entitled “THE KAMELEONS”.
Set in a typical suburban neighborhood, The KAMELEONS follows the everyday struggles of a wacky all chameleon music band in their quest to stardom. Infused with music, mania, and a healthy dose of mischief, this series will not only hit a unique vibe for the global targeted audience of kids 6-11, but the entire family as well with its smartly crafted stories, witty dialogues, and international pop culture references. “We have long wanted to bring a musically themed show to life with real music created by today’s top producers. The KAMELEONS, will not only make us laugh, but they will also make us dance and groove!! For the first season, 52 episodes of 11minutes each will be produced.
The show was developed by Christian and Yvon Tremblay based on Riki Group’s original concept. A team of renowned animation writers was assembled, led by Derek Iversen, a former lead Nickelodeon staff writer and credited with more than 60 episodes of SpongeBob. Other amazing writers include Miles Hindman, and Laura Eichhorn, with additional story contributions by Christian and Yvon Tremblay.
The project will be presented for the international market at MIP Junior in Cannes this year.
