The Moskino has prepared a selection of films for online viewing on non-working days

A special selection for online viewing “Moskino at home” will allow movie gourmets and movie lovers to enjoy good films without leaving their homes during non-working days. Curators and presenters of cinema clubs, film critics have prepared a series of recommendations, for convenience, combined into thematic blocks.

“During the non-working days, when the functioning of Moskino cinemas will be temporarily suspended, the cinema network will continue to stay in touch with its viewers. editor of the Soyuzmultfilm studio, curator of the Encyclopedia of Animation film club – undeservedly forgotten domestic cartoons, TASS film critic Tamara Khodova – films of women directors, and genre cinema expert Nastasya Gorbachevskaya – horror films for the upcoming Halloween. Moskino is an institution in the structure of the Department of Culture of the city of Moscow, which manages a network of city cinemas. Annually hosts hundreds of retrospectives, auteur film festivals, film clubs, premieres and meetings with directors. Supervises the citywide festival “Cinema Night”. The network includes 13 cinemas. The Moskino Cinematheque contains about 9 thousand film copies of Soviet classics.

We are also happy to announce that the best cartoons of Russian authors can be soon viewed on the social platform of Russian author’s animation, which the Russian Animated Film Association is preparing to launch in December 2021.

The platform will be free and publicly available. It is the author’s animation as a cultural asset that has been chosen as a priority direction of the project; this type of animation acquaints the viewer with a variety of art forms, encouraging him to creative activity.

The Opening of the Platform of Author’s Russian Animation will take place in December 2021.The project “Social platform for children and parents, uniting and popularizing the best works of Russian author’s animation for 30 years” is carried out using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation provided by the Presidential Grants Fund.
