The winning entry of a competition held by Soyuzmultfilm, Okko, and the Movement of the First will see a drawing by an eight-year-old schoolgirl from Novorossiysk appear in an episode of “Nu, Pogodi!“.

A drawing by eight-year-old Olesya Papina from the city of Novorossiysk will appear in an episode of the animated series “Nu, Pogodi!“. The work by a student of the Municipal Budgetary Additional Education Institution CDO IRC “Shkolnik-2“, where children study fine art and computer graphics, won a competition within the All-Russian project of the Movement of the First, “MediaAttraction“. The initiative was held jointly with the Soyuzmultfilm animation studio and the Okko online cinema service, which is a co-producer of the “Nu, Pogodi!” project. In total, more than 200 entries were submitted to the competition.

Under the terms of the contest, participants were required to create a poster design on a space theme, featuring spacecraft, astronauts, objects of extraterrestrial civilizations, and alien creatures. At the same time, the image had to include the main characters of the animated series—the Wolf and the Hare.

The “Nu, Pogodi!“ episode dedicated to Cosmonautics Day, into whose visual sequence Olesya Papina’s drawing will be integrated, is scheduled to be released in spring 2026.

“Soyuzmultfilm has always been open to co-creation with its audience; for us, it is a source of inspiration and new ideas,” said Yulia Osetinskaya, General Producer of the Soyuzmultfilm animation studio. “Olesya Papina’s drawing impressed us with its color palette and composition—the poster will be a wonderful addition to the atmosphere of the episode and a bright visual accent.”

In August 2025, Okko premiered the fourth season of the animated series “Nu, Pogodi!“ produced by Soyuzmultfilm. In the new episodes, the Wolf and the Hare go to school and face challenging and humorous situations related to their studies, school events, friends, classmates, and teachers.
