Russian–Malaysian Animation Pitching Session Held in Moscow

A Russian–Malaysian animation pitching session was held in Moscow with the participation of the Moscow Creative Industries Agency. The event provided a platform for project presentations, professional dialogue, and discussions on expanding cooperation between representatives of the animation industries of Russia and Malaysia.

The pitching session featured a reciprocal presentation format. Russian studios presented their projects to Malaysian broadcasters and platforms, after which Malaysian studios showcased their projects to Russian buyers. The program included project presentations, Q&A sessions, and networking opportunities.

The Russian delegation included the animation studios YARKO, Sakhnovsky Park, Bubble Studios, Not Elon Production, and Soyuzmultfilm. Russian distributors and platforms participating in the event included Multilandia, Kinopoisk, CTC Media Distribution (CTV), KION, Okko, Solntse/START, Oi! TV Channel, and Wink.

The Malaysian delegation featured FLY Studio, Pixelline, MOTIO Studio, Red Circle Studio, and 84 Animation. Malaysian distributors participating in the pitching session included ASTRO, MYTV, Durioo, and Nymey.

The event was aimed at strengthening business ties between Russian and Malaysian animation companies while exploring opportunities for content distribution, co-production, localization, and the international promotion of animated projects.
